I am not a film composer, but I would suggest finding out who was the composer on your favorite films. Find their site, and take it from there. For example, I am a fan of Brian Tyler's work... here's his site: http://www.briantyler.com/Site/Home.html

I highly recommend the book, "The Emerging Film Composer", by Richard Bellis. It is an engaging and insightful resource if you're serious about trying to get into the business.
