Filmmaking / Directing : Short/Feature Film Director Available by Marc I. Daniels

Hello all. As I come to the closing days of shooting for "Waterless", a dramatic/government conspiracy Pilot/"long" short film, I would like to let you know that I am available to Direct future projects, no matter how small. I just love the work. I am fast and efficient, averaging 5-6 pages per day on my current project, while still being able to maintain full coverage of a given scene by using anywhere from 3-8 shots, usually at about 5 takes per angle. Obviously this varies from scene to scene and film to film but one hard rule I have is that even though I may work relatively quickly, I do not and will not sacrifice quality just to be able to move on. I am very friendly and open to suggestions on set. I am warm and very good at directing actors head-on. DP's and A.D.'s usually have a very easy time reading me and understanding my vision(s). I can honestly and confidently say I am a people's director, and do not take any position on crew for granted nor do I treat people like "underlings". I am well known for thanking people personally and giving motivation and praise to cast and crew throughout a long shooting day. Plenty of references available and best of all, I love the art and so I often work for very reasonable rates. More reasonable than you might even imagine. Just ask me.
