Distribution : So you've made the movie...Now what? by Brian Green

It used to be in years gone by that when we finished a movie it was off to the film festivals. Not to say we shouldn't do it now but I've heard so many other avenues various film-makers are taking now. I personally took my 1st short to the Bronze Lens Festival. That got me additional air time with a local station and a nationally syndicated program. Now I'm back again with a feature film and I'm thinking festival time but others close to me say go the self distribution route. Interesting option. Any thoughts, stories or suggestions? Love to hear(read) them.
