"TRACKS" A fully written short film

Location: Los Angeles, California TRACKS is the story of JOHNNY BLAIR, a bored middle class man who while driving home one night uncovers a dead body after a train crosses the tracks in front of him. It is ruled a suicide, but he has seen something that drives him to investigate what really happened. The story touches on the class divide between people and drug addiction as well. I am looking to be the cinematographer and possibly director of the project, other than that I am searching for people who want to act or help produce a film with a great and meaningful story. CHARACTERS: JOHNNY BLAIR: Mid 20's. Normal guy, normal job. Looking for a purpose or an adventure in life. Philosophical by nature. JEREMY KELLY: Man found dead near tracks in car, Johnny's motivation to investigate case. "Overdosed on pills". Poor and addicted to drugs when alive. NICK "NOSE" NEELY: Rich, upper class, smart drug dealer. Doesn't use, just runs a tight, hidden business. Very mature and affluent. Owns a bank. ROSE TRACY: Jeremy's drug partner/occasional partner. Formerly beautiful, life messed up by drugs. Knows background and behavior of Jeremy very well. Very depressed and confused. ROLAND 'ROLO' LONEY: Man with a lot of knowledge of the streets. Cool style. First lead Johnny finds, helps divulge the shady past and associates of Jeremy. Leads Johnny to Rose. DENISE KELLY: Jeremy's mom, disappointed with the way her sons life transpired, but still loving and concerned. Mid 40’s-Early 50’s. JENNY O'BRIEN: Johnny's GF. Breezy disposition, always excited about something. Really loves Johnny. This film is intended to be shot in black and white (you'll know why at the ending). Still set in modern times. I have a fully written 23 page screenplay done for this project. Please let me know if you are interested and I will share it with you.

Tracks is a popular title for a film. I think our Tracks was the 17th film to use that title on IMDB back in 2010. Tracks (2010/II) lol...

Oh good to know! I do have a few alternate titles in mind if that becomes an issue.
