New Rule Productions is an Award-Winning Television and Video production company. Celebrating it’s 22nd year in business, NRP provides all type of TV and video production. At the moment we’re producing many TV commercials and we always have a few new TV shows in the works. NewRuleFX.com is a companion company to New Rule Productions and produces breakaway and special FX props. We receive orders, manufacture and ship out products to clients all over the US and the world on a daily basis Both companies have recently re-located to Van Nuys from it’s original home on the Central Coast. Now in LA, we’re looking to grow and thrive in the recovering economy and produce the best possible customer service for our production and FX clients. This position will start out as a part-time position and will involve assisting the owner/director on a daily basis, maintaining and prioritizing client contacts. Coordinating aspects of TV production shoots, assisting FX production with making sure the orders are going out and on time. This is a job for someone that can wear many hats and is ready for a very fast, sometimes hectic pace and is able to jump from project to project without missing a beat! Applicants must: Have own, reliable transportation to, from and during work. Be knowledgeable on MAC OS platform, Pages/Word Excel/Numbers, comfortable answering phones and assisting clients when needed. Available to assist on location productions when needed, sometimes out of town. Experience or knowledge in any aspect of props and/or special FX a plus. Be ready for anything and desire to jump in where help is needed.
