I'm Amanda Atkins, producer for 43 Pictures, and also Amanda Garwood, actress - My husband and I founded 43 Pictures a few years ago, and are currently in the process of self-distributing our first feature - "If you get to Heaven" www.ifyouevergettoheaven.com , a European road movie shot on the route to Santiago de Compostela. Stage 32 has been a powerful networking resource for me personally over the last few weeks - I've been offered a wonderful role in a wonderful project by a Stage 32 member - If visas can be organised in time, I shall share all the details - until then I'll remain mysterious! But I would like to thank Stage 32 for making this collaboration a possibility... hopefully it can become a reality!

I'd love to see your road movie on the BIG screen. I hope you are presenting it to as many festivals as possible (such as Sundance). Congratulations producing it, Amanda!
Thanks Armelle, we spent a year of applying to festivals, never managing to get accepted sadly - I think we have a very "European" film in its pace and content, and I think for festivals we were too "mainstream" - (it really is an uplifting feel-good movie) and not edgy enough for the niche festivals, and yet we didn't have any big names, or a big enough marketing budget to get noticed. In the end, we've gone for self distribution, but I'm still optimistic, if not for a theatrical release, maybe a television release. Thank you so much for your support!
