Screenwriting : Screenwriter needed by Tracy Parris

I started writing a book but haven't finished. There is way too much to write. I started thinking about a script mostly because it is currently a hot button.. This story covers twenty years so as you can imagine I would need help from an experienced screenwriter. I believe this is topic that has not been covered on the big screen. It would have been a great documentary if I hd started recording twenty years ago..

Hi Tracy, truth is your story may need months and months of work by a screenwriter. If you want the story under your name then you will need to employ a ghost writer to create the screenplay. The cost of this could be anywhere from a few thousand and even as high as 50 to 60 thousand for a top writer. Chances are if you offer a writer a share of the ownership and he can connect with the story and has experience in that genre, then he may take it on. The idea can not be protected, so before you give him the idea get a collaboration agreement signed to protect you. An alternative is to learn how to write screenplays yourself though it takes a while. Regards Alex

I am writing the book but I estimate it will take me at least a year to finish. I just need a screenwriter who will hear my idea and run with it. I'm sure there are thousands of authors saying the same thing but I honestly have never seen a film or read a book with this idea. Basically looking for a partner.
