Is Adobe Premier the Most Popular Tool for Professionals?

The Adobe Premier team is know for listening to its audience - do you agree - what about other tools. 50 + Independent film producers are meeting to discuss this topic and I would like your feedback before the session starts.

I've been editing with Edius (formerly Canopus) for years. It's under the Grass Valley name now. To me Premiere makes editing hard work.

Thanks for the very fast response. Can you please clarify what you mean by hard work?

Finding the tools, the multicam editing is kind of clunky. I don't like the way they word the tools, for example, when you have audio only on the left side of a track the tool is 'fill right' It took me awhile to figure out that one. It's also good with any format in and any format out. It's all pretty easy on Edius. That being said so many people use Premiere that it's easier to find someone that works on it. So 'industry standard' is the way to go.
