Introduce Yourself : Aspiring Sinatra style Jazz Vocalist by David Roberts

Hi guys and gals. My name is David Roberts. I currently live in Orlando, Florida. I am retired from teaching in the Public School system and currently working on my music. I consider myself to be a Sinatra stylist. I love the music of the Great American Songbook and over the past almost ten years that I have been working professionally as a vocalist I have performed around 400 Sinatra tunes in public. He may have been the chairman of the board but he was kind enough to share the music with countless other interpreters. My desire is to my small part to carry the American Jazz Standard torch in my own way. I have been lucky to perform on a regular basis at Vines Grille & Wine Bar in Orlando, FL. I have been doing my thing there now for over 9 years on the weekends. I would love to perform in interesting places and with other musicians. So do keep me in mind for any special events. Since these are almost universally known standards the beautyof it I can sing with almost any musician(s) versed the great American Songbook. So please do keep me in mind!
