Introduce Yourself : Hello! by Darren Howell

Hi all, I thought I should introduce myself. I'm Darren, a UK-based screenwriter. I write because I want to write -- it’s what I enjoy, and it has been a great passion in my life for as long as I can remember. I am fastidious and obsessive about my writing, with a 100% devotion to my characters and their situations. I gravitate heavily toward sci-fi, but have been known to dabble in the occasional horror or rom-com. Currently managed by 'Jeff Ross Entertainment', my sci-fi spec 'Arena' is under option to Gold Circle Films and was previously optioned at Summit Entertainment. I have worked with producers in Los Angeles and Brisbane, and am currently working with a UK-based production company to develop my latest script 'Easy Money'. Additionally, I'm hoping to produce and co-direct my first short film (subject to funding), 'Dogbox'.
