I'm thinking of writing a feature script about a conservative young married woman falling in love with her gay best friend. I've always wanted to do a story like this. I just want to see what people think about it.

So far I don't like it. There is noting to it. However if it's a story that you really want to tell you should write it. Maybe with your, specific, take on it it could be a great story.
The log line isn't what will make the story great or not. If you always wanted to write a story like this, than do so.

Write it. I don't think you've posted a logline here, just your idea. There are a lot of conflicts and interesting stories in something like this, so why not go for it. The very worst that can happen is you'll get more experience writing screenplays :-)
I'd read it. Go for it.
If anyone says it's a bad idea, that's pretty much your green light to write it.
