Hi everyone, my name is Dommie Yambo-Odotte. I live and work in Nairobi, Kenya. I work with, as well as for local and international producers interested in working here or developing African-based film ideas. I also produce content for TV to support citizen awareness and for entertainment. I work in the non-profit sector as well, promoting the use of media as a development strategy. I fear that the African image is still not very well represented or even presented in many screens worldwide including here in Kenya. I spend a lot of time thinking and hopefully, will one day soon, come up with an idea on ways of changing this. I bet there are many in this group who will be willing to support a mutually beneficial idea, I am not wrong thinking this way, am I?
