Late in life, a team of psychiatrists discovered I had a deep seeded need to write. As with most things, it was completely attributed to sexual undertones. Their analysis discovered that I had what is now known as “Dick Van Dyke Show syndrome” … a deep desire to marry and be with Laura Petrie every second of every day. (Look it up). I knew at a very young age that the only way to do this was to become a writer like Rob. Then the show went off the air. For years, I moved from city to city to city …Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Newport Beach, in search of the best reruns of the show. I now sit in a darkened room 24 hours a day writing and watching reruns of the Dick Van Dyke Show. I've written a couple comedy shorts that have been in various film festivals, one winning an award. They're now on youtube under Schoolyardproduct. The titles are "Peace Talks" and "this is lipstick!" - links below. I have written a couple shorts as well as a couple sitcoms and features.
