YouTube in absolutely awesome! There are so many people who have put there videos great and not so great on YouTube and has become stars. They did not have to pay any agents to them there (not knocking agents) It has given people like myself and other a platform to show their work, music, talent, etc. to the people and let the free willed people make them who they are or became. Part of the beauty is you can be anonymous, you can be yourself, or you can pretend your someone else. Kudos to YouTube and other platforms like it! It is for the people and gives you popularity by the people! :D

I really am looking forward to getting into it myself.

Yep but there is soooo much and so scattered. When First Rites launches in a few weeks www.firstritesfilms.com we will use the You Tube player and have a First Rites YouTube Channel but having ALL developing filmmakers congregate in one destination area we think will work a lot better - hope so 1 Cheers Milt

Milt, I am with you. It can be very hard to weed through everything. Vimeo, I think, does a better job of highlighting filmmakers and their work.

Milt Barlow

Yep Vimeo does a great job...but like a lot of site I find them elitist...we are trying to create a portal where if your ready to upload your film away you go...and then let the audience decide...Cheers Milt

Milt, your idea is a great one and I agree that seems to be missing. You've found your niche!

Milt Barlow

Agreed but of course its not the magic and can bring its own frustrations but at least we can now get through the door
