I am always in the Ann Arbor Michigan area on my weekends. It's about an hour and a half drive from Windsor as long as the bridge traffic isn't too bad.

Yes Ive noticed that
NYC is crazy expensive. it's a whole different kinda beast. L.A. is where most people go who are trying to break out in the industry. It's also expensive, but the weather is way nicer.
I mean I live in Florida and I never had to fly to NYC to go over contracts or meet with Producers or Studio folks. I always had to fly out to LA.
LA is the land of fake people as well. But as long as your not in the valley I've always loved the weather. The Valley is like a nasty hot smog bowl. Thank god I get to stay in Malibu over looking the ocean. But I'd move out there in a heart beat, because I grew up there as a kid and I got a ton of connections I can't use here in Florida.
