Hi there, Wanted to introduce myself as a budding screenwriter to this new community I've joined. I'm looking forward to connecting and networking with the members of this community. A little about me...I'm a PR consultant, and budding screenwriter, and founder of myself. The most recent piece of my published work is right here, I love their circle of folks and the concept of their site: http://www.lifebyme.com/cecelia-fresh-found/ Right now, I'm working on my first spec script - and hope to have it completed by mid-Spring. Once I've completed it, I'll be shopping it around to managers and entering it into a few select contests. This of course is after I know I have something solid and of industry standard. Let's see, what else can I tell you? I have a cat named Cali, and she is the cinnamon to my bun and the sun to my shine. I plan on buying a house in Carmel, California as soon as I make my first big script sale (yes, I dream BIG...go big or go home, right?) And, no, I don't plan on living next door to Clint Eastwood...but, hey if that's what the grand designers have in mind - I'm not opposed. For now though, I live on a nice Peninsula up in the lush state of Washington - until I make my move to the Monterey Peninsula. Something about this Peninsula living suits me well! Looking forward to meeting all you creatives on here. :) -Cecelia
Hi, Cecelia. I'm a budding screenwriter as well, but my bud's been on the vine a bit longer than yours, I suspect. The body is 60 years old, but my mind is stuck in the '70s. I still see myself as that 20-something and I'm looking for others of a like mind -- of any age -- to share ideas about screenwriting. I'm looking for a group that provides honest assessments of your work rather than a page by page recitation of how THEY would have written it. Know anyplace like that? I have a completed spec script that made it to the quarterfinals this year of the first competition I ever entered. I'll keep checking back here for you. Maybe we can help each other.
Hi Bob, thanks for stopping by to introduce yourself! I get that about wanting an honest assessment rather than a page-by-page dissection...after all that is what script consulting and management is all about, right?! I'd love to be a sounding board for any ideas you are tossing around or ruminating upon. Congrats on making it to the quarterfinals in the competition you entered! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on screenwriting.
Hi Cecelia, welcome to stage32! This is the perfect place to connect with other screenwriters all over the world.
Hi Jaclyn, thank you! Glad to hear from you, and yes, I am hoping that I connect with all sorts of folks in the screenwriting "trenches." :)
Hey Cecelia, just wanted to extend a hello as well...I'm not only one of the co-owners of the joint, I'm also a screenwriter. The community of screenwriters on this site is pretty incredible. Talented, helpful, friendly...Just a pleasure to be around.
HI Richard, thanks for stopping by to say hello :) Good to know more about you. I'm glad I found out about the site, and now it's even more encouraging to know that you, too, are a screenwriter! I'm beginning to see the level of interaction for screenwriters on the site, and it is incredible. I'm glad I decided to step out of my shell and onto the site.

Thanks, Cecelia...As I like to say, I'm not only the CEO, I'm a member!
