I'm really curious about the opinions concerning plus sized actresses. If the average American woman is a size 14 then why are most leading roles for women limited to size 0 to 6? It seems to me that besides Queen Latifah and the new Mike and Molly sitcom that the only time you see a plus sized actress she is either the "fat friend" or the" funny girl" Alot of men love a woman with curves and I know more women would love to see leading ladies that look like them, so why is this not being done??? Big girls date, fall in love, and have all the same issues as their tiny counterparts, so where is our representation in Hollywood??? I wish a director would take a chance and cast a bigger woman in a romantic comedy or drama...With Adele breaking out and Melissa Mcarthey's new success I think America and the world are ready to see us! I am not just writing this because I am a plus sized model actress...I truely feel this way. Fat discrimination is ridiculous and I think this would help.. Listen I am not promoting being unhealthy. You can be a bigger person and still be healthy. I excersiceand eat reasonably healthy...I have excellent blood pressure, low cholesterol, and I'm good. What are some thoughts from other people in the industry about this???
