Hey, there! I founded my own theatre company, Talking Horse Productions, in Columbia MO two years ago, and while many told me that it would never fly, we've become a very active part of the arts scene in a short amount of time. We produce theatre for a 70-seat black box venue, and we focus on character-driven scripts with compelling stories, rather than scripts that require lavish sets and costumes. Our goal is to become a professional company, but for now, we operate more as a community theatre. We produce six main shows each year, along with special theatrical projects, new plays, and even two children's plays that we tour to local schools and other venues. It's been a very exciting time for me! This next year we have two musicals, three comedies, and one drama on tap, plus four extra theatre projects either produced by us or co-produced with other companies. It's a novel way to do theatre, but you have to pay the bills...

Sounds great, Ed. Would you be interested in a half hour, two character edgy comedy for a man aged around 21 and a woman 29-30? It's called "The Violent Seduction."
Mona, if you could send it to me electronically, I'd be happy to have a look at it. Perhaps it could be paired with another short play at some point for a "double-header" evening...
