Hi everyone, i joined S32 just hours ago, here's my bio… Born in Australia, I worked in various sales positions for over 20 years before realizing I needed more fulfillment in my life. I had wanted to get into film when I was 14 and so, after leaving sales, I completed a short Production Management course, made a couple of short films and 2nd AD'd on a children's sci-fi TV pilot before deciding to move to the States to pursue film. After 3 years as a PA on commercials and some films, I headed Transportation for a (then) new Reality show, The Voice and saw it through their first 5 seasons in LA. The busy schedule, however, kept me from the more creative endeavors of which I am passionate - writing/producing with a view to directing in the future. None of my ideas will see the light of day if I don't first finish writing them. So, I left transportation and now, I have a completed screenplay (crime/thriller with Christian themes. A recent reviewer said, "...it's an exciting crime thriller with a compelling social message, and could garner interest from independent financiers with an eye for political commentary and traditionally marketable action elements…the story grounds itself in contemporary issues and offers a startling portrait of the illicit drug trade, the exploitation of at-risk youth, and human trafficking…the dialogue is consistently intense and compelling…action lines are vivid and draw the reader in…scenes like the opening at the docks, the raid on Big Jack’s ranch, and the final shootout, stand out for their impressive tension and dramatic pull.) I am looking for co-producers/financiers who are interested in helping me create worthwhile projects that are rewarding both spiritually and financially including the above mentioned screenplay. I am also beginning research on other screenplays based on stories I believe could be very inspiring and uplifting. My intention is to create projects with purpose that will hopefully inspire others to reach out and be their best. I am interested in character-driven, dramatic pieces with positive messages. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3946569/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1 Thanks, bless you all, Pete
