Introduce Yourself : Introducing Myself by Karen Segretti

I got onto this platform after my girlfriend's non-stop insisting. The potential of being a very talented writer terrifies me when she looks at me strangely, I fear I'm not good as she is. So she keeps quoting this thing about fear being in my imagination. I guess now it's not longer fear, no longer in my imagination. It's REAL. It's NOW. She just wants me to be better than she is. This is probably so she doesn't have to write anymore and can be a lazy director and actress for which she expects me to write all the scripts that she desires. She's laughing quite hard right now which is very out of character. I wonder if it's just an act from a brilliant actress. I did co-write a play recently where she got to play the supporting character not the lead. This was my first play and it was very exciting to watch it coming from the pages and become live right in front of me. I felt very proud seeing her on stage and bringing the character alive. I'm looking forward to writing more things over the coming years. Right now, I'm working with my girlfriend and her best friend and a producer in LA to create an amazing feature animation. I'm privileged to have some input into her romance screenplay and to see lots of her other writings. I'm looking forward to writing more with her and others that might join us. I'm looking forward to moving to LA next year.
