Introduce Yourself : Returning Member by Clare Almond

Hi Everyone, I joined Stage 32 last year but failed to introduce myself properly. So here goes. I am a late developer having come to Acting and the whole absorbing, frustrating, exciting, energising world that it is at a time when most people are slowing down. In less than a year I have had the most amazing luck and quantities of work (most of it paid). So even if you are more mature you CAN do it and start a new career. So never give up, be brave, go outside your comfort zone and the opportunities are there and, yes, some of them have come from Stage 32. I would love to hear from other more mature members (and younger ones too!) so get in touch. And of course I am interested in new projects in film and television and on stage.

Not sure how you define "mature," Clare, but I'm mid-40s. Definitely not young anymore. :-) Very many congratulations on your successes so far, and here's wishing you many more to come!
