Wonderful read on Amazon, what an amazing story John. And what a courageous person you are. There are non so blind as those who choose not to see. I hope people take your example and follow your lead. Smile in the face of adversity and Believe.
Nothing to do with courage...just did what I wanted to do...
No offence meant John, I enjoyed reading about your life as a child, and as a child put into that set of circumstances I think you were courageous. You had the Will to go on and do what you did.

No, I only read the pages on Amazon. Obviously I offended you with what I said. I meant no offence. I had a friend who died recently who had a withered arm due having contracted Polio. His whole life was wasted due to his own feelings of shame. I wish, he had, had the courage to pull himself out of his depression. But, he didn't. He lived all his life as a recluse.
I can relate, but that's a tragic story. A line from the book : " The gays have a closet; the gimps have a dungeon."
Get it out of your head that you "offended me." NOT TRUE!!!
