On Writing : Playwright Residencies at the Inge Center by Patrick O'Leary

Did you know that since October 2002, professional playwrights have been able to live in the restored William Inge Family Home, work on new plays and enjoy the surroundings that inspired William Inge. The playwrights are invited to Independence for residencies up to 10 wks. With the support of generous stipends, the playwrights take advantage of precious writing time. Playwrights applying should have at least three professional productions of their plays and, ideally, some teaching experience at the college or high school level.
