Hi guys and gals. I'm a writer, special effects technician, lighting technician, and director. For the last three years I've been working in the film industry in Toronto, mostly doing FX work. During that time I've been working on several different novels, and more than a few scripts. I'm big into sci-fi and fantasy genre work, especially epic tales that are spread across a vast universe. A lot of my on set experience has been on TV shows shot here. I won't throw all of the credits up, because there are a lot of them. But the one I'm most proud to say that I've contributed to is the NBC series 'Hannibal'. Though I've directed films in the past, I haven't made on in a few years, and am looking to get back into it, now that I have significantly more experience. Thanks! Have a good weekend lads! Mark

We have a huge member base in Toronto (I"m sure you'll find that out when you search in CONNECT), and we have had Stage 32 member initiated member meetups in Toronto before (make sure you're checking out that part of the lounge constantly) . We have some amazing fellow VFX peers on Stage 32 -- on in mind you should network with is Lyse Beck. She's worked on all of the Lord of the Rings films and also we did a webinar with Shaun O'Banion and he had his VFX artist, Jory come on and teach the VFX part of the webinar.
