Hey! I'm a pretty big fan of using contests to get my work out there and have had some success with Creative World Awards, but keep getting notifications that Screenplay Festival's deadline is coming up. Has anyone submitted a screenplay to this contest? Any recommendations on it or other contests to look at? I'm also thinking of entering BlueCat in the fall. Thanks for any advice!

Never heard of Blacklist? Oy. Ok, Stephanie, stop wasting tiime on contests that don't mean anything. There are only about 12 or so contests that mean anything to Hollywood and professionals that could actually help your career. The others are just money pits and ego boosts. Nicholls, Page Awards, Austin FF, Final Draft Big Break, Scriptapalooza, Script Pipeline, Sundance/Slamdance, Screencraft, TrackingB, Fresh Voices is ok, and maybe a couple others...
