Hi Guys, I'm working on a pitch for a script I have written that centers on an ensemble and wanted to know your thoughts on the following. When writing the pitch would it be best to involve all the characters or focus on only a few. My concern is though every character has his or her role to play in the events that transpire in the script I'm finding the pitch to be a little cluttered yet I'm worried if don't address all of the characters it may come back to bite me.
Focus on the core. If you try to include all the characters, the pitch will turn into a ramble.

Third it: Focus on the theme and/or big conflict that all of them are dealing with. A pitch is always going to be about the essence of the story, not the details.

To quote Superman: "I'd listen to this man, if I were you."
