The Search for Spock...and the missing dialogue!

I'm based in the UK and I watched this 1984 film, The Search for Spock, last weekend and although I'v seen it at the movies and several times on TV. The problem is, I'm pretty sure ITV are only showing the pre-watershed version, even when its being shown at 10pm.... let me explain...the scene (if you're familiar with this trekie movie) where Capt Kirk tries to negotiate with the Klingon - Kruge ..(yes, yes the Doc, from back to the future, Christopher Lloyd) while on the Enterprise, in order to save his son David, Saavik and young Spock who are being held captive on the Genesis planet, by the Klingons. As his attempts to save them go pear shaped, David is executed and Saavik has to inform Kirk that his son is dead. At which point, Kirk fulls back in horror onto his chair and then says to Kruge "you Klingon Bastard, you murdered my son" I was waiting for this famous line... but then no... this short clip is cut so ok, Im thinking this must be the edited version and then later on in the film, Kirk fights with Kruge on the Genesis planet. As Kruge is about to fall to his death, the Saintly Capt. Kirk tries to save him and says "give me your hand" but Kruge grabs his leg and tries to take him down, with him, at which point Kirk shouts out "I ...have had...enough...of you..." and kicks him in the face sending the Klingon to his death. But no this small clip along with the dialogue, was also cut!!! All I want to know is why??? These edits just ruin the film...he's not using abusive language, in fact its a very, verbally, polite send off to someone you're about to kill and yet its deemed unsuitable for TV??? Can anyone from the USA tell me is this the same version you have over there or do you get the full monty?
