(500) Days Of Bummer

I just was reading through emails and correspondence from my ex and realized that having such a monumental breakup was beneficial. Do you think that earth shattering breakups can be good for the creative process?

Amber Lucille Brown

When writing a break up scene you will know the emotions surrounding it and I bet you will have some fantastic written dialog. Poor your emotions and experiences into your writing.

Mark Elliot

YES! I've spent a lot of time screwing up my life in small to monumental ways. IT'S ALL GOOD. There is one important thing to remember, blame is boring.

Brandon White

Nice perspective I feel the same way

Being open and honest and unabashed about the portrayal is key I think

Mark Elliot

I find that in subjective emotional situations, when I'm really getting hammered, after I've calmed down, I have a hard time recalling what was said to me. I remember the pain and I can paraphrase the message, but I lose their words. That is a waste of a good beating. I try to find an opportunity to write it down while I'm still in character. The alternative, asking the person what they said, can be pretty funny, and useful, but it's just not the same.

Georgia Hilton

I prefer to keep the drama ON the screen...

Brandon White

Sometimes off screen drama comes up onto the screen wonderfully lol
