About Donte
I am actually just starting out. I am exploring the industry trying to learn as much as I can. It looks like I came to the right place when I stumbled upon this site.
I started out, trying to be a "rock star". But that never happened. So still, focus on music, I started working on "Making Beats", I loathe that phrase on all levels but it is what it is. Again, didn't pan out. I've spent the last 20 years or so working in call centers. Now burned out on that, I'm flexing my writing skills and creativity and branching out. I've always had stories and ideas for stories in my head. Now I want to get them out. So, no film school, no writing classes. Just organic self-learning and research. So I guess you could say, I'm a digital rogue scholar, using the term "scholar" ever so loosely.
