Isaiah Burwell

Isaiah Burwell is an African-American screenwriter who was born, raised, and currently lives in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland. Isaiah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers University where he majored in Journalism and took every screenwriting and filmmaking course available. He continues his screenwriting education through the courses and consultations offered by Roadmap Writers. Isaiah has also worked in the Department of Defense for 7 years. His time around government officials and soldiers has given him a unique insight into the philosophies, traumas, and humanity of people who kill for a living. Isaiah primarily writes action screenplays about marginalized people fighting for power in unjust societies, which are inspired by his own experiences as a minority in the U.S.
