From the frozen lands of Utica to the grad school halls of NYU and back again, my writing takes a comic look at social isolation and the epidemic of male loneliness in our society through both live action and animated media. Fantastical elements are by no means off-limits, but at the core my characters are searching for community and personal fulfillment amidst the noise, expectations, and pressures of modern life.
Bonspiel! Comedy When a man suffering from anxiety, infertility, and loneliness craves human connection, he stumbles upon the promised land: the Utica Curling Club. But in order to join he must overcome his social anxiety to do the unthinkable: recruit three other curlers.
The Regency Romances of Wormly McLovington Animation When Reggie Fizzing, an anxious young man in Regency-era London, scores a coveted invitation to Almack's Assembly Rooms, he puts himself in the care of his godfather, a fashionable wealthy earthworm, to learn how to dress and walk and talk like an elegant gentleman.
Homeland Security Comedy When a Homeland Security Training Center hosts a hotshot SWAT team from NYC, recently divorced coordinator Libby Winston must wrangle a top-notch counterterrorism scenario for them. But when her roster of roleplayers get food poisoning and her lazy aspiring-actor son moves back home, Libby is forced to take the lawlessness into her own hands.
