I am a lawyer that works primarily with creative people. I am not your average suit and tie entertainment attorney; not after working in the entertainment business for forty years.
I am a founder of THE FIRM ®, an entertainment law practice in NY, that has represented people and companies in all creative and intellectual property related matters for more than 30 years. I provide personal and cost effective contract, trademark, copyright, consulting and litigation services. I represent individuals and businesses, commercial products or ventures, from musicians, writers, producers, to jewelry and clothing designers, soft drink bottling, pottery manufacturers, stores, spas, games, professional services and assorted gizmos and gadgets.
I am an Associate Professor at Five Towns College in Dix Hills, NY, where I've been teaching Music Business Contracts as well as Music Publishing and Copyrights since 1999. I am a past chairman of the Nassau County Bar Association Committee on Sports, Entertainment and Media Law. I am a member of both the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, New York Chapter.
