Sandrine Orabona

Sandrine Orabona has worked professionally for over two decades as a director, producer, editor and shooter to enhance her storytelling skills in the non-fiction genre. She has created long and short form branded content for clients such as AEG, Disney, Warner Bros., Sony, Universal, HBO, Mun2, CBS and MTV.

Sandrine was born in France and raised in the multi-cultural city of Miami, FL. Her first job at MTV Latin America taught her how to create cutting edge material and exposed her to diverse artists, music and brands from companies such as Sony Latin America and Emilio Estefan's Crescent Moon Studios.

Sandrine continued working for MTV Networks when she moved to Los Angeles in 2001. Her focus on reality-based content led her to shows such as ABC's The Bachelor and the WB's High School Reunion. She eventually worked on behind the scenes material for feature films such as The Good Shepherd, The Bourne Identity, The Village and Ocean's 12. She spent three years heading the team that produced the creative content for the first three installments of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean home video campaign.

Due to her unusual skill set as a producer, shooter and editor she was hired by AEG on Michael Jackson's This Is It tour to document the artist, cast and crew as they prepared for their run of shows in London. Her incredible experience on This Is It was the catalyst for Foreign Films, which she opened with Anke Thommen in late 2009.

Sandrine is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Featured projects past and present also include Shakira's La Otra Cámara, Dave Matthews' Band I Did It, Ani DiFranco's Render and work with KCRW personality and DJ Garth Trinidad.
