ADESOLA ‘DES’ THOMAS is a Nigerian American tv + screenwriter, playwright, director, and culture writer based in Brooklyn, NY. Her storytelling centers the underepresented levity, play, bliss that pools through the lives of Black people in the American South and across the African diaspora. She is committed to celebrating the nuanced inner-worlds of her community members (immigrants, queer POC, suburbanite punks, ) on screen, on stage, and in person-every day.
