Emigrated to Rhodesia from Britain in the mid-1950s and attended school in Umtali on the country’s Eastern boundary and furthered his education at Gwebi Agricultural College near Salisbury (now Harare).
Upon leaving college I was called up to fight in Rhodesia’s Bush War against African Nationalist terrorists/insurgents/freedom fighters depending on which side someone supported.
Rhodesia became Zimbabwe in 1980 and I took up a career farming until Mugabe’s land-grabbing days from the year 2000. Since then, I have worked in Mozambique, Nigeria, and the UK before returning to Zimbabwe.
My interests include current affairs, history, wildlife conservation, and the environment.
