Rebecca Moret

Rebecca Moret is a screenwriter, director, and opera singer based in Sydney. A comedy, horror and drama writer, she is currently working with her all-terrain portable writing team developing several high-concept genre series and a horror-comedy film.

Rebecca and writing partner Jasper Garner Gore wrote and directed the five-part comedy-adventure webseries Tales for Uncertain Times, and created the web series Judge Odin, which was presented as part of the Melbourne Webfest Pitch iView event in 2019.

Rebecca and Jasper’s experiences as housekeepers in Sydney inspired the Australian Writers' Guild Monte Miller short-listed comedy-thriller series Keeping House, optioned by Beyond Armana in 2020. They have since teamed up with fellow AWG Pathways writer Lachlan Marks to write the horror-comedy feature film Not Like Other Girls and high-concept dramedy series MidKnight, with several other projects in development.
