Remi Itani

Remi Itani is a Lebanese director, writer, producer, and University lecturer. Graduate of the London Film School MA Filmmaking with distinction, Remi started her career as a documentary director for Al Jazeera Documentary Channel. She has participated in numerous directing workshops, among them a filmmaking workshop with the acclaimed director Werner Herzog and Torino Film Lab. Her work has been selected for more than fifty international film festivals such as IDFA Documentary Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival and International Film Festival Rotterdam. She has been awarded the Boghossian prestigious residency award, the Roberty Bosch Film Prize and was nominated for best director at the Short film British Awards. Her work has been featured on Al Jazeera Documentary Channel, BBC, and Screen daily.
