About Christopher

Chris studied Theatre Arts at Ryerson University and has appeared in over forty professional productions across Canada, on stage, film and TV. He spent three years with Theatre Animation, conducting and coordinating hundreds of acting workshops throughout Ontario, and nearly five years working as a private acting coach in Toronto and Vancouver.

As a founding member of the Toronto based comedy troupe, “Shy One Horse”, he wrote, acted and directed numerous sketches, appearing in clubs and on television. He also produced their entry for Toronto’s Fringe Festival.

After moving to Quebec, Chris launched The Actor’s Workshop, in the Eastern Townships. He also taught On-Camera courses, for two years, at the New Actor’s Workshop in Montreal.

He co-found storyland3, in 2001 and went on to produce and direct nine plays with them, including Broadway Valentine, Cinderella, After the Ball and Letters Home.

Chris received funding as Creative Director, to develop six theatre programs throughout southwest Quebec. Over his career he has been involved with dozens of fundraisers and benefits for various community organizations and NGO’s. He has served on several Boards including MUCS and the Knowlton Players.

Chris has written, directed and/or produced over 30 plays. Chris has written several specs including a feature film and a television comedy series, entitled 'No Business'.
