About Hilliard
Trying to explain growing up in San Jose feels odd at best. Always seen as “The Gentle Giant,” I never felt like I was actually being seen as anything else. Constantly bombarded with the same tired questions. “Do you play sports?” “Did you play basketball?” “Did you play in college?” Writing and acting has given me a chance to live outside that monicker. Be something else. Anything else.
