Troy Blake

Hailing from New York City, Troy Blake is an optioned screenwriter who has been crafting high-concept stories primarily in the horror, thriller, sci-fi and period drama genres since graduating Emerson College in 2011. Growing up gay in a traditional Italian-American household, Troy discovered his love of film at an early age as both a means of escape and a means of self-reflection.

He prides himself in his ability to world build and to bridge the gap between the commercial and arthouse by placing underrepresented characters in extraordinary circumstances that go beyond the parameters of their tropes. An avid gamer, pophead and history guru, his stories pull from the past, present and future to elucidate universal struggles and timeless truths.
