I have always been a storyteller, through poem, song and story. It is the pass time, passion and standard of my life. The struggle of the isolating atmosphere of writing is a frequent balance, because by nature I’m an extrovert. Seeing words and thoughts as they play out on paper, to screen and finally in history, is all but a dream and why I write.
“I’m a writer and a righter,” to quote Sir Jay Z. The boisterous activist in me feels fed from my daily literary dosage. I love the playground that words allow me to double dutch in, a tear jerking sentence or two to preach to the masses. No matter the platform, it has been written, and that’s exciting. Words truly are the doctrine of societal growth, status quo and as illustrated by history, powerful in nature and completely conforming when up against the fence. Like words, I feel a since of dedication to meaning; twisted and turned by its inhabitants, yet still it remains - present.
