Julia Howe

With a background in advertising copywriting, I’m passionate about writing issue-led stories founded in social justice, and my genre of choice is thrillers. Think crime dramas, psychological dramas, drama with a hint of comedy, but all with the goal of highlighting contemporary issues through the twists and turns of memorable, relatable character journeys.

My work has placed in some industry competitions, with one of my psychological thriller feature film scripts a Semi-Finalist in the Cinequest Screenwriting Competition (March 2023) and Inktip’s Pitch to Page Screenwriting Contest – Thriller Scripts 2023 (Aug 2023).
