ASHA is a drama about a young girl genius with a bright future ahead of her, however; when she discovers secrets about her past, her life takes an unforgettable turn, that sets her on a dangerous journey to saving herself from the threat that haunts her.

SYNOPSIS:

Asha is a young genius who is auctioned into sex slavery at the age of two. As she is about to be handed to the bid winner, Papa; she gets rescued, by a loving couple (Zoya and Gahiji) who are at the auction for other reasons. For three years she is safe and secure until one night she witnesses her rescuers being murdered by bounty hunters who are in search of her. Shaun Benfurt, a gentle forensic pathologist, who examined the scene of the crime, does not want Asha to get put into the system and takes on the responsibility of raising her. For sixteen years Asha is able live her life to the fullest under Shaun’s care, but one day her past returns and she is on the run for her life. Not wanting to endanger any more of her loved ones she surrenders herself to Papa. However, when she is delivered to him, she is surprised by the accommodations in which she is given. Her prison is a luxurious mansion that she can roam freely in and use its resources.

Asha meets the ladies of the house, Yasmin, Tiana, and Angela. They all look like her, and it makes Asha question if they are possibly her biological sisters. Regardless of her connection to the girls, she makes it a goal to save them as well as herself from Papa. Asha is not the only one in hero mode. Asha's family and friends (Banafrit, Jeremiah, Mahlik, and Tyrone) are making moves to rescue Asha as well. They plan for Jeremiah to sneak his way into Papa’s home and save Asha, but that plan backfires landing him in the position of being Yasmin’s very own sex slave. Yasmin is thrilled she has someone of her own to do as wishes with and attempts to use Jeremiah to make Papa jealous. However, her attempts end up getting her put out of Papa’s home and across the street into her own new home.

Time goes by, and Asha has a plan to create sex robots of herself and Jeremiah to replace them in their position of being sex slaves and giving them the opportunity to escape. That plan gets intercepted when Yasmin becomes jealous of how much time Jeremiah is spending with Asha, but Jeremiah spins it as a business opportunity for Yasmin to be more independent from Papa. Yasmin accepts this opportunity in hopes that Papa will be proud of her for building something of her own. However, Papa figures out who the mastermind behind the robots is and gives Asha praise for her genius. This makes Yasmin even more jealous of Asha. Her jealousy turns to rage, and she makes it a goal to destroy Asha. Yasmin sets up a meeting with Abayomi, an assassin, to end Asha’s life.

As time passes by, Asha remains amongst the living and Yasmin is not happy and is becoming impatient. She takes it upon herself to get the job done and breaks into Asha’s room to kill her, but once she has Asha where she wants her, Asha alerts her of Papa making his own moves to get rid of Jeremiah. Yasmin’s feelings for Jeremiah causes her to put a hold on killing Asha and they both rush to save Jeremiah. At this point it’s every man for himself.

Over a course of time, Asha’s hatred for Papa turns into an understanding of him, which then turns into romantic feelings for him. Now she must decide who she wants to be with, Papa or Jeremiah. Yasmin is beyond livid as she sees Asha living the life that she wants. Having to watch the men she loves fight for Asha’s affection sets Yasmin off, but now it’s harder for her to make another attempt at taking Asha’s life while she’s under Papa’s and Jeremiah’s watchful eyes. After a long wait, Yasmin’s dream finally comes true when Asha gets shot in the back with a single poisonous bullet. While everyone is mourning Asha’s death, besides Yasmin, Abayomi happily sits in his home in Meteora, Greece awaiting his reward from his latest mission. His gift arrives and when he opens the package Asha pops up in a scared shock, wondering how she is still alive.
