About Alexia

As a talented Researcher specialising in Development, I have built a breadth of experience in finding stories, and using effective communication skills to engage with contributors. I have used my creative writing skills to develop ideas, write Toplines and Pitches and take briefs. I make stunning decks and keep detailed records to report back to Producers.
I have implemented innovative and creative ideas through brainstorming, and seen through the attainment and completion of commissions through thorough research and fact-checking.

I started my creative career as a Junior Researcher at Wildflame in 2020. I was quickly promoted to a Development Researcher, working across Wildflame's slate of Unscripted national and international factual productions, which has led to my current credits such as Amy Dowden's Dare to Dance (BBC ONE Wales), Michael Ball’s Wonderful Wales (Channel 5) , Efaciwîs / Evacuees (S4C), and Drych: Lloches (S4C). With Wildflame's development team I have created programmes such as Frogmore House: Royal Retreat (Channel 5), Brink of Disaster (Discovery), and Wales, Who do we think we are with Huw Edwards (BBC Wales)

On all of Wildflame's insert films for The One Show, I have conducted the research and was able to support the Producer to create heart-warming, informative films for BBC audiences.
I can self-shoot, with beginner experience using an FS7. I also have experience with archive.
