We follow two work friends in a British comic book store, as they deal with their respective family drama, love lives, and everything nerdy.

SYNOPSIS:

In this TV comedy pilot, we are introduced to two mid-20-somethings employed at a comic book store based in London. Ben, an aspiring illustrator, is a wannabe ladies man without a clue of what he's doing in his quest for love. Jess, the actual ladies man of the duo (or in this case laidies woman), is a collage drop-out whose only working so she can go outside now and then. Outside of work, she also has her interfering older sister to deal with. Together, Ben and Jess are able to deal with life's problems just a smidge better. They even learn a thing from each other now and then. At the end of the day, despite all of the drama one would face, Ben and Jess just deal with customers, get their pay from their manager, and praise/rant about the latest in pop culture and comic books.
