Rachel Gomez

I am a 20 year veteran teacher, whose career in education opened my eyes to the realm of writing. I have written over 10 scripts for theater production and three feature length screenplays and have just completed a short film, that has the potential to become a feature length film.
Initially, my writing targeted the younger population, however my work encompasses a variety of genres. I consider myself an autodidact in the field of post-production as I have also learned how to edit my own work.

I am also a novelist, currently completing the first book in a trilogy, that I intend to turn into a screenplay. Developing a pilot for a series is also in my future plans.

Writing makes me feel alive! My goal is to pursue writing as a full time career. I hope my work serves as an inspiration to many.
