David J. Ferreira

David Ferreira is an award-winning producer and skilled post-production specialist. He was born in Gauteng, South Africa to parents Louis and Rhona Ferreira, as one of three siblings, and attended Wonderboom High School before studying Creative Writing at University.

David is married to his wife Marili Ferreira, who he met in a whirlwind romance that took them from their first date to the wedding altar in 8 months.

David's career began over a decade ago, starting with TV commercials before moving on to longer format content. As a producer, he has produced two theatrically released films and three short films, showcasing his abilities and dedication to bring a project from conception to completion. David's post-production skills have also earned him recognition, particularly in the area of VFX.

His skills as a visual effects artist have landed him opportunities to work with renowned studios such as Warner Bros., Netflix, Sony, BBC, Disney, Starz, and more, where he contributed to over 23 international films and TV series. One of his noteworthy works includes his contribution to the Oscar-nominated film, Revolting Rhymes.

David's latest highly-acclaimed work, Evade, is a testament to his exceptional creative abilities and skill in producing high-quality content. Aside from his successful film career, David is also an accomplished author, having published a historical fiction novel with Bridge-Logos Publishers in 2009.
