About Justin

Justin Casselle is a rising Black writer + director whose work as a former creative producer in advertising for brands such as McDonald’s, Jeep, and Nintendo has surely been on your TV (it’s totally fine if you clicked “skip ad” - I get it, I did the same). Thanks in large part to his adopted hometown of Chicago, Justin writes stories that are big-hearted, genre-bending, and sharp with social commentary, all through the lens of comedy. His short films, of which he both has written and directed, are often ranging from dark comedy to slice-of-life drama/comedies, and have been official selections at various film festivals such as the Austin Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, and Urbanworld Film Festival among many others.

Represented by Great Guns USA for commercials and music videos, Justin has also written and directed many high-profile commercials. He recently wrote and directed PETA's first ever comedy commercial and he also directed the rebranding commercials for the famous Aunt Jemima brand, now Pearl Milling Company. Most recently he directed a music video for Grammy-nominated R&B soul group Tank and the Bangas. Currently, Justin is seeking representation for film and television.
