Omali Jeffers

Omali Jeffers is a 29-year-old screenwriter from Brooklyn, New York. He is a first-generation American of a Caribbean-born family. As a child, Omali was obsessed with television - from reruns of old movies to every new episode of Angel and Xena. This background has inspired his current work, which runs the gamut from children's animation to adult genre. Omali got his start in the industry working as a Technical Director at a local television station and moved on to PA on film and TV sets while honing his craft as a writer.
For the last few years, he has teamed up with producers Gabriel and Rafael Francisco of Francisco Productions to pitch an original pilot, as well as writing on a dramatic thriller set for feature release later this year. When not waiting for the return of shows like Succession and Mandolorian Omali is actively developing animated series
based on classic children’s literature while working on his first action feature.
