SYNOPSIS:

Z&X is an hour-long serial narrative for streaming. The four season series with ten episodes each

are about the relationship between two college students in their attempt to break the generational

curses that lead to broken families. Each character has layered arcs that follow their goals for

success as well as family and friendships.

Season 1 – “Likes, Lies, and Reel Love”

At the University of Newark, Zaraya and Xavier fall fast—from flirty glances to full-on

late-night intimacy. Zaraya’s pursuit of online fame collides with her desire for something real,

especially when a fake “couple collab” with rising influencer Quentin launches her first brand

deal. Meanwhile, Xavier’s underground art sparks campus controversy, forcing him to confront

what kind of artist—and man—he wants to be. As their relationship deepens, best friend Priyah

sheds her good-girl image, exploring sex and freedom for the first time. The season ends with the

promise of love, ambition, and chaos intertwined.
